The drawback of mistress tangent

Having a mistress is not all it’s cracked up to be. Sure, you get to have some hot, steamy sex with someone other than your wife or girlfriend, but there are some serious drawbacks that you need to consider before you take the plunge.

For starters, there’s the monetary cost. Keeping a mistress can be expensive, especially if you’re buying her gifts, taking her out to dinner, or footing the bill for her rent or car payments.

There’s also the risk of getting caught. If your wife or girlfriend finds out about your mistress, she’s likely to be very hurt and angry. This could lead to a messy divorce or break-up, and you could end up losing everything you’ve worked so hard for.

And then there’s the guilt. No matter how much fun you’re having with your mistress, you’re still cheating on someone you’re supposed to love. This can take a toll on your conscience, and you may find yourself unable to enjoy the relationship fully because of it.

So, before you succumb to temptation, be sure to weigh the pros and cons of having a mistress very carefully. It’s not all fun and games, and you could end up paying a high price – emotionally and financially – if you’re not careful..Click here to find out more

The history of mistress tangent

In ancient China, concubinage was a custom that allowed rich men to take multiple wives. But since women were not allowed to have more than one husband, these extra wives were called “mistresses.”

The role of the mistress was primarily to bear children, since sons were very important in ancient China. If a man’s wife could not bear children, he would often take a mistress who could. The children of the mistress were considered illegitimate, but the man would still support them and often give them his surname.

Mistresses were often treated poorly and were not given the same status as wives. In some cases, they were even treated as slaves. However, there were also mistresses who were very well-treated and even given their own households.

The status of a mistress changed over time, becoming more and more like that of a wife. In the Tang dynasty (618-907), for instance, the emperor Xuanzong (r. 712-756) decreed that children of mistresses could inherit property. And by the Song dynasty (960-1279), the term “mistress” was no longer used, and these women were simply called “wives.”

Today, the term “mistress” is used to describe a woman who is in a sexual relationship with a married man. It is generally seen as a negative term, as it implies that the woman is secondary to the man’s wife.
